It only took months of planning and rescheduling, but I
finally got to shoot with my friend Melissa! Melissa and Jon are
expecting a baby boy, and I had the honor of shooting her maternity
photos. One of my favorite things about my job and traveling back home
is when I get to see old friends from 10+ years ago who are doing
fabulous things with their lives, getting married, and having babies.
This session definitely falls into that category. I hope I get to shoot
newborn photos for her, too! :)
The rest of Melissa's session can be found on my Facebook page!

Ashley, Jason, Cody and Chase - a family mini-session!
This is my third shoot with Ashley! This time, I got to take photos of her dogs, which was a first for me. I've never really had the opportunity to have a shoot with animals thrown into the mix. I have to say, Chase and Cody definitely set the bar high - these dogs were so well-behaved and so much fun to work with. It must be because Mama trained 'em well! Thank you, Ashley and Jason (and the dogs!) for supporting me in my 3-Day Walk for the Cure! The remainder of the shoot can be found on my Facebook page!

Spring is Here!
Spring is here in Georgia, and it's a beautiful sight! Flowers are in bloom, and they're bright! Check out some of the recent photos I've taken in the last month...
Look at my crazy girl! I'm not sure why she wanted to play with the tongs, much less pinch her own nose with them, but she seems pretty happy about it.
I'm shocked that I was able to convince her to take a "normal" photo for me.
We went to the Riverbanks Zoo when my in-laws were in town.
Also, I got a new macro lens. I'm pretty much in love.
That's my pouty baby. She was upset that she wasn't allowed to get her Dippin' Dots yet.
Isn't this church awesome? We stopped in Edgefield, SC on our way to Columbia, SC for one of my sessions.

A Little Florida Fun
I had a blast in Florida with all of my photo shoots, but I did have a little extra fun with my awesome family. :) Here are a few pictures from my Florida weekend.
My Autumn got to play on the beach during my beach shoot with the Koshlap family. She loves the water so much...if I didn't know any better, I'd say she was a fish.
We also went to Gatorland. Autumn loved it, and has talked quite a bit about being an "alligator trainer" after seeing the gator wrestlin' show.
I'm not a huge fan of birds, but aren't these colors gorgeous??
