Savannah Wedding Details

I love the amazing opportunities that doing this job provides me with!  I had a mentoring session in Savannah with Teresa from Memories n More Photography.  Teresa shot family photos for us a few years ago, and I absolutely fell in love with her work, and learned a lot about how she runs her business just by chatting with her here and there.  I decided a mentoring session with Teresa would help me with the things I felt were weaknesses of mine, especially when it comes to shooting wedding photography.  These photos were from a wedding details set-up at Teresa's studio.

Mary Jane & Jon Get Married!

As a part of my Savannah mentoring session with Teresa of Memories n More, I got to play second shooter at Mary Jane & Jon's wedding!  It was a super beautiful day.  The lighting in the chapel in Bethesda was gorgeous, and the reception at Vic's on the River was so nice!  I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with Teresa for this wedding, and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful family!

Christina & Mike - Maternity

I love, love, LOVE getting to catch up with old friends!  I shot for Christina and Mike during one of my Florida trips a while back, and I was fortunate enough to get back together with them in Savannah this time for Christina's maternity shoot.  She looks ahh-mazing!

Alex, David & Family

Another one for meeting up with old friends!  Alex's two oldest girls were some of the first kids I photographed when I started Beck Wagnon Photography, during a trip to Savannah.  Alex's husband David is stationed there, and we got to meet up with them, and meet their newest addition, too!  These are a few of my favorites!

Savannah is one of my most favorite places to visit - but I usually visit when the weather is bright and sunny.  Until this weekend, I don't think I'd been to Savannah when it was raining...not only was it raining this weekend, but it was frigid!

I met up with my first friend ever (our BFF moms were pregnant at the same time), Danielle, in Savannah...and then we met up with my childhood friend Alex, and her two beautiful daughters.  Don't they look cute?  And angelic?  These girls were the most well-behaved kids I've ever been around!  Of course, they were an absolute joy to shoot.  I'd like to thank Alex and her kiddos, and Danielle (and of course, my husband) for toughing out the weather and being patient while I clicked away behind the shutter.  :)

Looks like we had a good time despite the weather, doesn't it?  It's true!  Savannah is nice, even when it's chilly and wet.
